Who Is Dr Jonathan Hopkirk?
Dr Jonathan Hopkirk is a New Zealand-born, Australia-trained medical doctor specialising in aesthetic medicine, hair restoration and the management of aesthetic complications.
With extensive experience at both the clinical and industry level, Jonathan previously served as Global Medical Director of Laser Clinics Group, where he led more than 500 healthcare professionals across 210 clinics internationally.
He has since contributed to advisory groups and advanced clinical training teams for leading aesthetic companies including Allergan Aesthetics, Teoxane, Cryomed and Universkin, and is an Honorary Faculty Member of the international Complications in Medical Aesthetic Collaborative (CMAC).
He also serves on the AMET Complications Field Team.Today, alongside treating patients from two Sydney clinic locations, Jonathan is Principal Medical Advisor for InstantCosmetics, providing clinical leadership, practitioner support and expertise in the prevention and management of complications.
His practice brings together facial aesthetics, skin health and doctor-led hair restoration, underpinned by an extensive understanding of anatomy, ageing and complication management.
His approach is deliberately considered: natural-looking results, evidence-led treatment and never treating simply for the sake of treating.Above all, Jonathan believes aesthetic medicine should help people look like themselves, not somebody else, while taking their confidence to a new level.
